About the role
As a Warehouse Store Person at Biomed Limited, you will play a crucial role in the smooth running of our Point Chevalier, Auckland warehouse. This full-time position involves handling and storing a variety of medical supplies and equipment, ensuring efficient inventory management and timely distribution to our customers. Your attention to detail and strong organisational skills will be key to your success in this role. Please also note that this is not a temp, agency or contract role, so bring your A game!
What you’ll be doing
- Receive, unpack, and store incoming stock, maintaining accurate inventory records
- Pick, pack, and dispatch orders accurately and efficiently to meet customer requirements
- Maintain the cleanliness, organisation, and safety of the warehouse
- Assist with stock takes and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and competently
- Collaborate with the wider logistics team to optimize warehouse operations
What we’re looking for
- Previous experience in a similar warehousing or distribution role
- Forklift licence is preferred.
- Experience operating warehouse machinery
- Clean reach licence.
- Clean credit report.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to follow procedures and safety protocols consistently
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
